Here is a great tip about laying out your web site
sales page or landing page to maximize conversions.
Yesterday I got asked to look over a client’s site. It’s a new site
He’s launching to promote a health supplement. And this page should be
very successful
Anyway, one of the things I noticed was the layout and how this page
wasn’t laid out properly.
What do I mean by this?
You see, the eye is automatically drawn to the largest
object on the page. And then your eye falls downwards
like gravity. That’s why you should put your picture at the
top of a page and then have a headline underneath the page.
Followed by the body copy.
In this case, the client has a large container for the supplement.
The only thing was that he had a lot of important information
ABOVE the container. And this information could be missed
by the reader because of the way we read a page.
Remember not everybody is going to read every
single word on your page. Yet it’s important to you that they do.
So take a look at your web pages and ask yourself this question:
“Do you have any important information that could be overlooked
by the visitor?”
If so remember the gravity rule.
Warmly
Mark
PS – How have the first 6 months
gone for your business? Are you hitting your sales targets? Is your
marketing persuasive enough to encourage buyers to do business
with you?
There is still money out there. It’s just people are more discerning where
they spend their money. So if you’re not making the sales that you’d
like then we should have a chat..
